Rules and Etiquette

  1. No flaming other members on or off list. If you have a complaint about something someone else has done, send it to the List Mum, Eryn.
  2. When something is off topic, type OOC: [topic here]
  3. Use typical good manners.
  4. Don't  control another person's characters without their expressed permission.
  5. Try and include everyone, and try to keep as cannon as possible. It's hard to do this in an RPG, but that's the way things go.
  6. Being the Game Master is hard work, since he or she has to keep records of what goes on in the RPG, as well as creating broad events. This means you can do whatever you want really, as long as it fits with Darkover.
  7. Remember that other people subscribed to the list are real, live human beings and that they have feelings that can be easily hurt if something is said the wrong way. Be nice!
  8. Last, but certainly not least, maybe the most important rule ... have fun!
